What a wonderful idea, don't you think? Practical, down-to-earth, and timeless. When do you need God's word most? In the heat of battle, of course. Have your Sword of the Spirit ready and drawn. What could be better than to sharpen it with a quick new insight, promise, or exhortation when we need to hear it?
Let's get creative today. Let us all look for ways to keep our God present in our daily lives and routines. It is far too easy to let the day run away like a derailed train.
Remember WHO holds our day, if we let him. He holds the stars in space. My day is no bother to him--and neither is yours. Live on the hoof.
Rejoice evermore.Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
