Watching God at work

Our family has been passing through a place of the deep waters mentioned in Isaiah 43. It seemed like all of us were suffering in  very different, terribly hard ways.

Some of the suffering is still going on, but we are beginning to see changes for the good, beginning to see God bringing us out at the other side of the river.

Of course God has been with us through the depths.  His Spirit has been comforting our aching hearts and wiping our tears, translating  prayers that we couldn't even speak in our agony.

I always have hope in our faithful God. I've learned to trust him over the years. He's working now, changing these circumstances, bringing us out of these deep waters and the fire in his time. Praise his Name!

When you go through deep waters and deep trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown.When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up--the flames will not consume you.
