New dreams

I lost a dream this week. Sure, in light of the events of the Haiti crisis, it's a tiny thing. But our God sees the sparrow fall, and he knew my heart broke, as he knows when yours does.

He will bring a new dream, a better one, and along with it wonderful healing, but between dreams comes a time of trusting that the Healer will work.  I'm in that moment right now, a poignant time.  Soon I'll look back from a beautiful place of rest, seeing what our powerful, majestic God has done, seeing the miracles he's performed. He's worked in my life countless times before, giving me the cushion I can lean against, waiting for him to bring new visions, new reasons to rejoice.

His Name is on the line, with promises to care for his loved ones, his children. He is our Provider, our Creator, and our Hope.  He will give me a better dream to carry me to the next place on my journey with him.

Thank you, Lord, that you are bigger than our dreams. Thank you that you are the Author and Finisher of our faith.
